Trial Lesson FAQ's

Follow this link: https://settingthebarre.co.uk/for-your-dancer

Each student is entitled to a 2 week trial period. We feel this really enables the student to ensure they love dancing as much as we do!

Of course not! On the rare occasion Setting the Barre isn't for you, you simply don't sign up!

Trials are always offered at a 50% discount. Eg) if attending a 45 minute class (usually £6/week) you are charged at £3/week. This is paid for online, at point of booking your trial.

For your child's trial period, we advise shorts and a t shirt - something comfortable to move safely in. Bare feet for ballet & modern, and trainers for tap. Following this, we have a set uniform which is available to order.

We encourage grown ups to stay outside the studio, for all classes. We find the children settle in quicker, and it gives them a chance to socialise with their peers. Not having grown ups in the studio increases productivity and concentration levels! We obviously welcome you in when we have our 'watching weeks' or 'showcases'. If a student is particularly nervous we are able to waiver this.

The foundation of dancing. Since it's origins in the fifteenth century, it has been globally influential to all dance styles.
